About Omar Rodriguez

My path to real estate has always been about people first. With a foundation in Counseling Psychology and more than fifteen years in educational leadership, my work has centered on listening deeply, supporting others through change, and building relationships grounded in trust and understanding. Those same values guide everything I do in real estate today.

Born in Mexico and raised in the northern suburbs of Chicago, I grew up navigating different cultures and communities, an experience that shaped how I connect with people from all walks of life. I earned my professional degrees from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and spent much of my career serving families and organizations across Illinois, Wisconsin, and New Mexico before feeling called to a new way of helping others.

In 2019, my family and I made New Mexico home. We were drawn to its beauty, culture, and sense of community, and it didn’t take long for this place to feel deeply personal to us. That move sparked a passion for real estate, not as a transaction, but as a way to walk alongside people during one of life’s most meaningful transitions.

My early real estate experience in construction management and new home sales gave me a strong understanding of how homes are built and what truly matters beneath the surface. More importantly, it taught me the value of patience, clear communication, and steady guidance. Today, in the resale market, I bring those same principles to every relationship I build.

As a bilingual and bicultural REALTOR®, I strive to create a space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported. My goal is not simply to help someone buy or sell a home, but to be a trusted guide and advocate, someone who cares deeply about their story, their goals, and their peace of mind. Relationships don’t end at the closing table, and neither does my commitment to the people I serve.
